Sunshine, clouds, snow, rain, wind and storms...Join us for this weather related musical adventure!  Imagine creating musical storm sounds with a drum and exploring the pitter patter of rain and the whoosh of the wind.  Dance along with ankle jingle bells, glide on an imaginary ice pond or enjoy throwing pretend snowballs.  We will create delightful home activity projects as we make wind chimes, rain hats, sleigh bells and snow boots.  Your preschooler will love this playful and imaginative curriculum which will challenge him to grow in physical and social skills, language and cognitive skills and increase his musical aptitude.

     For your budding musician, Kindermusik provides a pressure-free, developmentally appropriate transition where he can musically succeed before beginning formal instruction.  Using a group approach, Kindermusik provides the opportunity to explore movement, vocal development, listening skills, rhythm, notation, musical symbols and authentic pre-keyboard, string, wind and percussion instruments.  Research has shown that music has a powerful impact on the cognitive development of a young child and plays an important role in the development of higher level reasoning skills!  Upon graduation, your child will be asking for instrumental lessons, which we offer here at Hall's Musik Studio. 

     Regular Materials include: a Home CD, games bag, folder with activity pages & attendance stickers, a songbook, tote bag and glockenspiel (Year 1) OR dulcimer (Year 2).  Sibling materials include the folder and games bag and are for a sibling of a child who has already taken the class and you already own the glockenspiel or dulcimer, bag, CD and songbook. Each child needs a glockenspiel, bag and folder. The CD and Songbook can be shared.
