 IMPORTANT KinderKamp Registration Information 

     You may now register online!   Click on Registration, then Summer, and fill in the Registration form. Then you can either print it or submit it.  If you print it, you can mail it, fax it, or bring it to the office. If you submit it, you will be taken to a shopping cart.  Click on Summer Session.  When you select summer tuition, you will choose the materials, and the session(s) tuition. Then you will check out and submit your credit card information.  Discounts will not appear, but we will charge the correct amount. This is a secure location to give us your credit card information. You are registered in the class when we receive a Registration Form and PAYMENT. You are not registered without payment.  You may also submit the form, then call us with your credit card.  Call the office if you have questions and we will be glad to help.

     If enrolling in one session, you must pay for the materials and session when enrolling.  If enrolling in more than one session, you may pay for each subsequent session by one of the following: writing a post-dated check for the due date or have your credit card charged on the due date.

     Materials are required by Kindermusik International for each enrolled child.  You must pay for the materials when registering.  Sibling Materials are for additional children in the SAME class OR if you have a previous child who took the class and you already have the materials.  Sibling Materials contain only one extra instrument.  If you already have the materials, you must bring the materials to your first class to show that you have them.  The same materials are used in all three sessions so only one set of materials is needed for the

entire summer. You may enroll in only one session, two sessions or all three!

    There is a 14-day notice cancellation of enrollment. Materials fees are NOT REFUNDABLE.  There are NO REFUNDS for tuition, but tuition credits may be made to your in-house Kindermusik account with 14-day notice and under certain circumstances that are beyond your control or choice.  A $15 Withdrawal fee will be

applied against the tuition. 

Course Descriptions & Fees

6 Months to 3 years

Session 1 and Session 2

Bring sign language into your hearing child's world as your child learns to communicate with his hands.  Using his hands, he can say what he means, and a parent can understand what he needs.  You'll have the tools to learn American Sign Language signs.  This research-proven program speeds language development in hearing children, eases frustration, and enhances long-term learning abilities.  At Home Materials for each 4-week session include a Family Activity Book, a DVD, a glossary of 60 signs and Flashcards using family-friendly ASL signs. 

Class Length: 50 minutes with a parent/caregiver. 

Session Length: 4 weeks each session. 

Session 1: June 6-27

Session 1: July 11-August 1. Each session is unique so you may enroll in Session 1 or Session 2.  It is best to take Session 1 before taking Session 2. 

Materials $42 for Session 1 and $42 for Session 2.   No Sibling Materials needed for additional children enrolled in the class.

Tuition: $60 each session (only $15 per class!)

"Busy Days "

Set your baby's day to classical music.  With a little more Tchaikovsky in your "Twinkle, Twinkle" repertoire you'll discover new ways your baby benefits from the classics as you both develop an appreciation for the world's most respected music.  Each lesson features new activities and songs you can sing for all the places you go together--the grocery store, the park, the doctor, the beach, the pool, and a family picnic reunion.

     Imagine your smiling baby dancing with you or playing peek-a-boo under a scarf.  Through a unique blend of activities that includes massage, exercises, singing and vocal play, fingerplays, creative movement, instrument exploration and literature, your baby's development is stimulated and all of his senses engaged.  The activities also nurture baby's cognitive, emotional, social and physical development.  Babies learn through being emotionally involved in the activities and what better way than through the vehicle of the world's most respected name in early childhood music....Kindermusik?! AND YOU!

Regular Materials $42. Includes: literature book, CD, lyric book, activities poster and a musical shapes bell.

Sibling Materials $10 (Musical shapes bell only) For the 2nd child in the SAME class or if you already own the Regular Materials (bring to the first class).

Tuition: Session 1: $56. Session 2: $56.  Session 3: $70. (Only $14 per class!)

Class Length:  40 minutes with a parent/caregiver.

1.5 to 3.5 years with a parent/caregiver

Give your toddler something to sing about while discovering the creatures in his backyard.  We’ll sing songs about robins, blackbirds, woodpeckers, owls, bees, flies, spiders, butterflies, squirrels, rabbits, dogs and cats and rain. We’ll listen to voices of the creatures, move like them, dance, listen to creature stories, act out stories, and play instruments as we imagine playing in our backyard! We'll sing, listen to sounds, move and dance, listen to stories, play instruments and move our bodies as we imagine moving like animals!  Your child will explore his own world through music while fostering language skills and blossoming social skills.  Playing shakers is not only fun, but your child is learning music skills that will improve his musical aptitude for future music instruction and help prepare him for preschool. And YOU will love the quality time you spend with your child!

Materials: $42. Includes a shaker, a Home CD, ladybug shaker and a scarf.

Sibling Materials: $14.  (Ladybug shaker and scarf).  For 2nd child in the SAME CLASS. 

Tuition: Session 1: $56. Session 2: $56. Session 3: $70. (Only $14 per class!)

Class Length:  Each class is 40 minutes in length with a parent/caregiver attending.

Session Length:  Session 1 contains 4 classes, one per week.  Session 2 contains 4 classes, one per week.  Session 3 contains 5 classes in one week.  Each session is unique so join us for any or all of the 3 sessions! Session 3 will contain some review of 1 & 2.

 

    

3 to 5 years

"On the Road"

     "On the Road!" was inspired by children's love of family adventures and the lifelong memories they build.  It re-creates the cozy delight of family travels: singing rounds in the car, making up songs, harmonizing, playing "I Spy."  We will be pretending to find shapes in the clouds to pass the time, discovering constellations in the night sky, roasting banana boats and s'mores, singing songs and telling ghost stories by the campfire, exploring the shoreline, enjoying puzzles and card games on a rainy day.  And throughout the camp, each child will create his own private, magical world of imagination and play as we go on a pretend road trip, enjoy a day at the cottage, have fun at the fair, enjoy a day at the beach and go camping!

      Children will learn the process of listening, turn-taking, sound discrimination and patterning.  Children develop self-control and social skills and enjoy chants, movement and music for development of steady beat.  The musical activities foster language skills and blossoming social skills.  Dramatic play activities are integrated with music, vocal development, story time and movement to capture your child's potential to learn and to encourage his cognitive, literacy and musical skills, creativity and individuality.  Making music together is not only fun, but your child will increase his musical aptitude for future music instruction and success in school during this "window of opportunity" time frame in his life!

Regular Materials: $42. Includes a hardbook literature book, a wooden frog guiro instrument, a CD, a Lyric Book and Home Activity poster.

Sibling Materials: $12.  (Frog guiro only).  For the 2nd child in the SAME class. If you already own the materials, bring them to the first class.

Tuition:  Session 1 $60.  Session 2: $60.  Session 3: $75. (Only $15 per class!)

4.5 to 7 years

Families participate the last 10 minutes of class

America Sing!

Come and learn the folk songs of America from Native Americans to the Appalachian mountains!  Learn about folk instruments like banjo, dulcimer, harmonica, jaw harp and spoons from Appalachia and the drums, rattles and jingles of native Americans.  Listen to authentic Native American and Appalachian stories and joketelling!  Our class includes singing, movement, games, listening, vocal development, dancing, and playing instruments, including an introduction to the piano! We will learn about the black and white keys, the directions of up and down, the two black key sets, the three black key sets and the names of some white keys and playing rhythm patterns on the piano!

Materials: $42. Materials include 2 CDs, 2 Songbook/Storybook, a harmonica and jingle stick.

Sibling Materials $16. (Instruments only).  For the 2nd child in the SAME class. 

Tuition: Session 1: $64. Session 2: $64.  Session 3: $80. (Only $16 per class!)

Class Length: Each class is 60 minutes in length, with the parents and siblings joining us for the last 10 minutes.

Kindermusik Policies

Makeup Policy. Missed classes may be made up by visitng other summer classes, provided the class size is not exceeded.  Village Sibling Policy:  It is best if siblings 1.5 through 4 years do not attend a Village class so that the parent can focus on the baby.  However, any sibling attending the class must be enrolled in a class of his own age also and not disturb the class.  Our Time Sibling Policy: Sibling babies in baby carriers may attend an Our Time class of an enrolled sibling at no charge, provided they do not disturb the class or participate in the class.  If the baby participates in the class, he must enroll in the class also.  An older sibling can attend free of charge provided he is enrolled in a class of his own age.  Imagine That and Young Child Sibling Policy: Siblings are welcome during the last 10 minutes of class when the parents join us provided they do not disturb the class.

Kindermusik Birthday Parties

Plan your child's Birthday Party in our studios or your home for groups up to 12.  Call for details.  We provide the entertainment, you provide the refreshments and guests!

Private Piano Lessons (for ages 6 years through Adult)

30-60 minute lesson/30 minute computer lab.  Monday through Saturday. Monthly tuition ranges from $95 to $115.  Teachers: Nancy Hall, Cheryl Schneider, Shirley Cheung, Caleb Ackerman.

Private Guitar Lessons (for 8 years through Adult)

30-60 minute lesson.  Tuesday through Friday.  Monthly tuition is $120. Teacher: Elario Lozano.
